I’m grateful that all 3 of my sons live in our home town, as one had been out of state for years. But we’re all busy with stuff and don’t get to spend as much time together as we’d like. So it was a treat last night when all of the boys, (and the two wives) could sit down to dinner and hang out. 🥰

Droughts are so frustrating because they’re nearly impossible to remedy. You lose so much vegetation and the wildlife struggles. When coupled with extreme heat, it’s like everything dries up.

I make hooked wool wall hangings and this is one of my newer ones. I was just informed that it was selected as the first place winner in a major competition and was given a perfect score by the judges. A huge honor and also a thrill to have made it. And the subject is a talented, handsome guy!

Sweet! My sister gave me a video-enabled birdfeeder and we’ve moved it three times so far to defeat greedy squirrels. No luck. They can still climb the metal pole and they’ve even chewed the cord that connects the solar power panel. We need a baffle of some type to keep them off! 🤬
