The main text of the image reads: "A very general guide on eyes and how to doodle ‘em - by Teikkiet yes! A window into one’s soul, as people say, and also a pretty interesting part of a character’s design; from simple cosmetic choices to interesting storytelling. To emphasize that design, we may want our character’s eyes to look different from other characters, either very slightly or very visibly depending on our goals and style. How can we do that? What aspects can we focus on and think about when we do that? We’re gonna be touching on a few points of anatomy as we go, so here’s a quick, very rough diagram to reference what we’re talking about later." Text that supplements the sketches: "Quick eye Anatomy". Encircling the main sketch of an eye, labels going by "Eyelids", "Eyelashes" and "Iris & Pupil" are attached to arrows and lines that point out the areas of the eye to which these labels refer to.

The main text reads: "First, lets talk shape. Anatomically speaking, what we would consider as the “shape” of an eye is determined by the eyelids and the space they leave open for the eyeball to peak out and see. This shape can actually be played around with a lot, even if you’re aiming for anatomical accuracy or “realism”. Not to mention, if you’re going for something more simplified or stylized you can get quite crazy with this!" Complimenting the sketches, the following text reads: "Eye shapes". To the side, a small color legend assigns "Upper eyelid" to blue and "Lower eyelid" to green. The topmost central eye sketch is followed by the text "Simple but good!", the top left eye reads "Quite fluid!", the top right eye reads "Fancy!", the bottom left eye reads "Just upper!, and the last, bottom left eye reads "Where eyelids?".
