43K fewer drivers on Manhattan roads after congestion pricing turned on, MTA says The decline amounted to a 7% reduction in traffic in the toll zone south of 60th Street.

This is the stuff I love hearing: a week after implementing congestion pricing, there are 43,000 fewer cars on the road below 60th (7.5% fewer) each day, a 30-40% reduction in traffic times, and buses are able to move more faster. Great news for NYC!
