Great capture. It honestly looks like an old western showdown, I can hear the whistling in my head.

I recently started watching #ER, I had more important things going on at the time of its airing. I was waiting on #ThePitt S2 to finish airing as I dislike waiting on shows.
Is it weird that 2 hit shows in ERs have aired with a same main character in my life? And that I am enjoying both?

A female Common Merganser standing in profile facing to the left of the frame. The ground is a pebbled beach. Her beak is long and has a small hook on the tip. Behind the beak is a white patch that roughly makes a rectangle, the majority of the head is a cinnamon color that looks swept back to make a funnel shape. Her body is mostly white on the chest, her back is a smoky gray with a white and black patch nearly in the middle of its side. The pebbles ate orange, black, white, grey, and tan.

A female Common Merganser, the only time I have ever seen one standing. She was just watching the water between preening herself. It was an interesting sight. Seen in Lincoln Park in #Seattle.

A Bald Eagle perched on a tree branch that is bare. The Eagle is in near profile and looking to the left. It has a white head and neck the body is brown and the beak is yellow. The sun is lighting a little bit of its back on the right side of the bird. There is an addition branch going across the lower part of the frame and the tree trunk is partially visible on the right of the frame. Blurry foliage is on the top of the frame and dark green. The sky is a light cloudy grey.

Happy #StunDay. Here is one of the many Bald Eagles that I saw in #Seattle. From talking to others it is a regular in Lincoln Park and this tree is its regular perch.

I recently saw multiple of those up in Seattle. A lifer for me.

It is. 9 of them were in one outing, which to me is pretty crazy.
There was even a female Common Merganser on the beach. I have never seen one standing.

Brown Creeper, Chestnut Backed Chickadee, Black Capped Chickadee, Brant, Pigeon Guillemot, Harlequin Duck, Common Loon, Horned Grebe, Red Necked Grebe, Common Yellowthroat (Nemesis bird) I have heard and not seen them so many times.
Plus Bald Eagle families flying, and a female American Kestrel.

I went to Seattle recently and most of the 1500+ pictures I took are of birds. There were at least 10 lifers including at least one Nemesis bird.

When I saw the photo of trump as Jesus it made me think of my pic for my RN id that was denied because it looked "too Jesusey"

Not at all, there is even a cocktail for exactly this.
The Hot Toddy: tea with whiskey or brandy (I have heard other booze too), honey, and, chili powder in it. I use a cinnamon tea that tastes slightly like red hots.

Just passed the TSA checkpoint in Seattle and saw this on one of the empty desks.
I learned this backwards and forwards in less than 8 weeks of basic training.
Did they get less training than the Basic Training for soldiers? The grunts even knew this.

The Nemesis bird was a Common Yellowthroat. I can't count the time Merlin has heard one deep in brush or bushes.

Would have been nice if his magas had believed all the shit he did before the election and had their feathers ruffled then.

Jealous. Just got back from a trip to Seattle so it might not be the time to take a trip to dark skies.
