The Press knew. They laughed.

The Tories knew. They didn’t care.

All I see now is hypocrisy.

On your LEFT - the Guardian joins in the anti Labour media pile-on on Starmer

On your RIGHT - a mock up of what might/should be front page news in an unbiased media world.

Boris Johnson failed vetting, yet Theresa May appointed him Foreign Secretary.

Dominic Cummings was never vetted, yet had free access to Government and Number 10.

The vetting process is self evidently farcical.

Do people remember the 'Beergate' nonsense during Covid?. Keir Starmer and Angelor Rayner were secretly filmed by the son of a right-wing journalist. The media kicked off again. Starmer, publicly declared that if he was found guilty of breaking rules, he would resign. He didn't have to say that.

Wouldn't it make a refreshing change if journalists and political commentators stopped talking to themselves about Starmer's faults and asked the people who are benefiting from Labour's policies. People on UC, on minumum wage, free breakfast clubs and childcare hours, the Employment Rights act etc

The mainstream media need to read the room. We're not interested in Mandelson. No one is talking about it. We want Starmer to keep us safe on the world stage and forge links with Europe. We worry about bills. We like breakfast clubs and the move towards green energy. No one's talking about Mandelson

Absolutely disastrous news for Nigel Farage and the GB News business model

Despite their best efforts, the BBC scoop about asylum seekers and the Guardians about Mandelson's vetting aren't quite the zingers they first seemed. But damage done so job done, Farage thanks them for their great work on his behalf.

Another day, another list of announcements and achievements from our hardworking Labour Government. While the media focussed on old news and resignations they suppress all the good news.

Blaming the Home Office for your failure to go "hm, maybe we shouldn't be headlining someone who's repeatedly demonstrated he's a Nazi" is a bit fucking rich, tbh.

Yes Trump's posts are horrendous but they're also completely incoherent. It's pretty obvious he doesn't know what to do.

Pete Hegseth’s broker looked to buy defence fund before Iran attack Morgan Stanley wealth manager approached BlackRock about multimillion-dollar investment for US defence secretary

Wow. Career ending in any normal times. "A broker for Pete Hegseth, the US defence secretary, attempted to make a big investment in major defence companies in the weeks leading up to the US-Israeli attack on Iran, according to three people familiar with the matter." www.ft.com/content/744e...

What Europe could do is threaten to boycott the World Cup. It won't. But that might actually work. Trump wants his big show.

What's this?

The Guardian has published some letters from readers in SUPPORT of the Prime Minister!

Are they finally realising the constant attacks are hurting both them and the country?

Fair play to Sadiq Khan. To live rent-free inside the head of the president of the USA is a massive achievement for any Mayor of London.

Maybe I haven't looked hard enough but can't see any posts from the Starmer bashers who insist they will always give praise when it's due. I'd have though his efforts with other world leaders to reign in Trump and help Zelensky was worthy of praise. I'll keep looking.

Apparently, according to my wife, "keep hydrated" doesn't mean "drink frozen margaritas", and I feel this is a misjudgment.

Playing Bingo Inside Britain's First REFORM PUB
Playing Bingo Inside Britain's First REFORM PUB YouTube video by The News Agents

If you want to understand the mindset of the relatively normal people who are now supporting Reform, it’s worth taking a quick look here where The Newsagents go to Reform’s first pub, in Blackpool.

Labour have over 6k elected Councillor’s the Tories over 5k, Lib Dem’s over 3k yet the BBC and most other media outlets are acting as if Reform with less than 9O0 ( less than the Greens) are running the country.
