Wow, been a while! I did finish the Re.2000 a little while ago. Not really been able to do much modelling since sadly. Hope you like it

That sucks, I'm not sure how I feel about Amity without Ahren π
Supposed to be seeing them (again) with Parkway later in the year
Thanks so much Rich βΊοΈ
It is a great kit, I would definitely recommend it! π
Thank you so much, and yes, you should πππ»
Yeah, this was my first but I'd definitely fancy doing more of theirs! ππ»
Thank you so much ππ»
Absolutely agreed ππ»
Held together well in the second half I thought, alot of pressure from Barnsley. Stevens made a statement too. Really happy with the point.
Proper jet setting Nick! Good show? That grey blue is similar to the Luftwaffe Typhoons isn't it!
A relatively recent completion, the Arma Hobby Hurricane II in the markings of Robert Stanford Tuck. What a kit, builds so well and looks lovely all done. My only complaint being the decal seatbelts. I replaced mine with Eduard etch ones. Hope you like.

I had to do this over a few sessions as it takes way longer than you think
The mottle carries onto the forward undersides of the wings
That brown doesn't look right to me, annoying. Looking at a different solution now
Bang up to date now. Had to get a new compressor as mine finally gave up, had it since 2008 though so not bad. Mottling of the green went well but took a few sessions. Not so keen on that brown though. Hmm need to find a different solution I think π€
Underside blue has gone down nicely
Masked up and ready for top side stuff
Using a black base and just mottling the top colour on first to give an element of wear to the paint. I build this up over a number of coats
That's the sandy yellow colour on. Mottling to come...
Started the paint phase, which is always my favourite. First time using MRP paints and really enjoying them
Cockpit all closed up, probably the last time most of that detail will be seen π
Bare engine, not bad for a kit effort I don't think
Main structure all together and making sure seams are good.....that took a few go's
I bought the upgraded head armour and it certainly looks so much better than the kit part!
Pushing forward on the Re.2000. Taken a good bit of effort to get here but it's coming together
A little something I started a while ago. Made some seatbelts out of wine foil and bent wire, not the greatest things ever but I don't think much will be seen!
I can't help but think this is my favourite photo I've ever seen from you mate π
