Subban accomplished what the Senators have not: Confusing Stankoven.
Nothing like watching P.K. Subban end his interview by saying "Good luck Freddie." Umm, I wonder why the interviewee, Logan Stankoven, looked at him puzzled? #Raiseup #LetsGoCanes
A really great command to the man in charge of the artwork at the Kennedy Center: "Get rid of everything." www.theatlantic.com/culture/2026...
Dear MAGA: You okay with your president helping himself to billions of tax dollars? Dear Republican Senators: Please let me know when enough is enough. www.washingtonpost.com/national-sec...
I just hate there isn't one stream that covers all.
It is until you want TBS/TNT?
“Open the Strait of Hormuz or I’m closing the Strait of Hormuz” is not the winning argument Trump thinks it is.
It was very scary to see he's the genius behind trying to create a worldwide effort to stamp out Antifa as a terrorist group.
There is evidence that is the case.
This from Richard Aregood, who has a history of memorable commentaries: One of the many reasons our Mad King gave for attacking Iran was their closing of the Strait of Hormuz.
In retaliation, he decided to close the Strait of Hormuz.
This guy would need to get 20% smarter to qualify as an idiot.
This actually seems so obvious, yet here we are....
A fair takeaway
A very important point: This is the kind of regional reporting that is being lost as news outlets across the country wither and die. People will not have reliable sources of information about their communities, and the ignorance that results is a danger to democracy.
An important piece in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution: their reporter reviewed the Georgia “worst of the worst” list compiled by ICE, and documented how false it is. The list included people whose only crimes were illegal entry into the country, or disorderly conduct. www.ajc.com/news/2026/04...
I for one feel so secure knowing that prospects for negotiating peace are in the hands of two such veteran diplomats as….Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff?
Voices across the spectrum agree Trump must be removed from office before he kills more innocent people and risks the entire planet. Yet somehow those in office -- in Congress, which has War Powers authority, and the cabinet, which has 25th Am authority -- are silent. www.wbez.org/politics/202...
I'm seeking a rules clarification. Is the rule that foreign countries are not to interfere in elections, unless we're the ones interfering? How could our vp and president be campaigning for the leader of Hungary and it's just, umm, normal? www.politico.com/news/2026/04...
Here's a sign of how the world has changed: This week I'm going to Philadelphia to conduct a Continuing Legal Education Class for lawyers, at the invitation of the Philadelphia District Attorney's office. Once upon a time this would have been unthinkable. phillyda.org
I. think they put on each other's uniforms today.
I understand your point, but there are lots of places to point the finger. How about the cowardly members of Congress for not fulfilling their constitutional duty to disapprove of the war and stop the nonsense? It is horrible what Trump is doing. But he has many enablers.
Well, a ton of them voted for him...

Dear Christian,
If you’re demanding that the Ten Commandments be put up in public schools, but you’re not holding this president or his administration accountable to a single one of them, please don’t act like you actually take them seriously.
Glad our Acting Attorney General focuses on achieving justice and never loses focus.
The way he thinks: Let those kids get jobs if they're hungry.
Trump said we “can’t take care of daycare” because “we’re fighting wars.”
Hello? The $200B he wants for his war could provide every child in the country with a free school lunch for a year & have $170 billion to spare.
Trump can help people here at home — he’s just choosing not to.
