Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof

I guess our super literal originalist right wing white Christian nationalist jurists are saying it's ok for states to ignore 1A

The next question should have been "Are you aware of any other American who's not white and a product of nepotism who has achieved any success, let alone a Cabinet position, after admitting to snorting cocaine off a toilet seat?"

Figure showing number of competitive grants mentioning women from 2015-2025. The number was rising until recently, with a precipitous drop in the last year.

Figure showing number of competitive grants mentioning women from 2015-2025. The number was rising until recently, with a precipitous drop in the last year.

At the end of 2024, the National Academies put out a report concluding the NIH has woefully underfunded women’s health research, and they suggested $15 B should be invested over the next 5 years.

Here’s what’s happened instead. Hard to study women’s health if you can’t say “women.”

You can give him all the credit you want, but this chart would seem to show Argentina inflation is reverting back to the (very high) norm after the (way above the rest) Covid bump

There's a thing about data- particularly "infinite" data. You need to decide what to focus on, what data to pick and base your decisions on. Your insights will be strongly influenced by how and why you pick that data

The fact that he was told by everyone he lost in 2020 and is still claiming it was stolen should make it clear to them his intent is always to lie

If he wanted facts he'd listen to his IC (or at last those last time around who were not afraid to tell him the truth)

To understand why the USA is where it is today, all you need to do is see that Trump cannot tolerate even the mildest, insightful criticism from the Pope, but Trump will allow Putin to humiliate him deeply and constantly, while still craving Putin’s approval.

The triangulating and Sister
Suljah criticism worked for
Clinton. It is THE way

Ignoring that Bill, and Obama and Biden were running during economic emergencies (each progressively worse), while now we are (really) in an existential democratic mess and this triangulation is weak shit

Three examples that show the lack of integrity at HHS under RFK Jr:

1. Claimed that 10 kids died because of the COVID19 vaccine, never produced data.

2. Believe that glyphosate causes cancer, say nothing when Trump orders more.

3. Say that leucovorin treats autism, no FDA approval for this.

And on the basis of this -- a pure policy disagreement about which he was demonstrably, wildly wrong -- Roberts dreamed up "major questions doctrine" & thereby rendered US law one big game of Calvinball.

You just can't exaggerate how low, how scummy, how dumb, how fraudulent it all was.

Really gotta emphasize this: the targets & requirements in the Clean Power Plan were *so* modest, *so* conservative, *so* unambitious that *the power sector met them anyway, in the course of normal market operation*. The regs would have had basically no effect at all relative to the status quo.
