They're just not fun anymore. Maybe we were spoiled with the random returns and Kofi doing random stuff every year.

I understand the goal is to feature more people, and there is a good quality to that but I feel it takes away a major aspect to the Rumble. The "who knows who will turn up" vibe.

While I don't stay up to date with WWE anymore I'll admit I'm still a sucker for the Rumble. That said, for me the past few years have been disappointing.

One of the main aspects for me growing up were the surprises and they're just not there anymore.

I miss the cheap pops.

Yep. It would've been a hard thing to get right in the first attempt. Having limited CAW creation suite, limited/outdated roster, and a short, basically unreplayable career mode did no favours.

Also, while creating Anarchy in the Arena was a nice/fun idea, it never would have lasted long term.

People wanted No Mercy gameplay. That didnt go so well. I have seen people calling for a switch to a Fire Pro style, which is even more niche.

They need something they like and build on it.

I'm for more Wrestling games. I enjoyed the first attempt but also haven't touched it in a long time.

By no means complete. I think fans of it didn't help with the hype, expecting it to be a 2K killer.

I get why they went with a more arcade feel, try to make themselves feel different from 2K.

I didnt mind it but I feel the art style also backfired on them as an easy target for criticism.

I enjoyed Fight Forever.

Another game I thoroughly enjoyed that did not perform well was TNA Impact, and this suffered from the same flaws. Fun core gameplay. VERY limited replayability.

Marketing this as the second coming of No Meecy did zero favours. Short career. Little to do outside of it.

Yeah. I haven't seen this for years and it hasn't gotten better in that time 😂

Nobody can be sure of the backstage side of things.

However. Creative wise. There were some questionable choices. Booked himself into a corner regarding the World Title. Had that Cena feel of winning the feud with the new guy. Doubled down on the babyfave character that people started rejecting.
