The MacBook Neo proves that an iPhone SoC is powerful enough to run macOS.
What I want is to connect my iPhone to an external monitor with Thunderbolt, which is also an USB hub to a keyboard & mouse.
And then it runs macOS, with the same apps on my iPhone. Or some new fusion macOS & iOS.
Not every startup can be built on just a MacBook, my friend.
Webshops should let me add items after placing an order, while it's still not being processed.
One day, my iPhone can connect to a monitor/keyboard/mouse over USB-C and run the iPad OS windows-like desktop environment, with the apps I already have set up.
This will be the greatest threat to MacBooks, and that is probably why Apple has not shipped this yet.
Shortly after @linkedin.com started pushing ads in my messages inbox with an unread count, I just stopped opening the messages inbox.
I envision an OS, where the front-end runs in the browser, and every app has a web-based frontend that’s responsive, runs inside a window/iframe and fullscreen standalone, with a shared GUI framework (css/js) between apps.
Maybe this could make Linux finally work for consumers.
We definitely need AI for filtering email status.
It’s not when done consistently.
