Frustrating that they are replacing the main gas lines in my Brisbane street with new ones. Surely it would be better and cheaper to give us solar and replace gas appliances with electric ones. So much for transitioning away from coal and gas!

It’s so hard to get that radio slot right. Sarah Mac did it, with the right mix of serious and humour, personal warmth and solid journalistic and news cred. Present of mind and equal to anyone she interviewed. Loved by her listeners. I too am baffled by the decision to sack her.

Just heard the ridiculous news about Sarah Macdonald being dumped at ABC Radio.

She nailed that timeslot and boosted her ratings.

As Nikki Gemmell said:
