Micro 4/3 GoPro
Micro 4/3 go pro set up
A few cool things so far at NAB this year.
The new GoPro is a little ridiculous but I kinda want one.

Ha we had the el paso airport freak out a little bit last time I was there because we carry gear in pelican cases and they thought we had firearms.
Also had my tools almost end up in Africa one time too because they threw it in with someone else's cases lol
TSA pre check and clear have made my airport trips so much easier. My home airport is usually less than 5 min all the way through.
This morning it was almost 20 though since they don't have a dedicated line at the moment.
I was in New Mexico when we attacked Venezuela and in South Dakota when we started attacking Iran.
Currently getting ready to head to Vegas, hope my travel isn't a harbinger of doom
I usually daily a diesel x5 but with it being close to $100 to fill it up I'm driving my wife's mini most days.
Our prices are up but they would still be considered really low pretty much anywhere else
Truly the dumbest timeline. Having to wonder if we are attacking cuba or invading iran or something even worse over a middle of the night social media post by the president is so fucking insane.
24 hours of spa poster
Visiting family in Italy in June and had enough hotel, rental car, and airline miles to make it to Spa at the end of the trip.
Hoping I might be able to pop over to the Nürburgring as well and rent a car but we will see.
4th time soloing a race trip with minimal planning lol.

My insurance didn't cover a private hospital room even though that was the only option. That was 7000 they wouldn't cover.
Oh and the hospital was short staffed at night so I got to lay in bed screaming in pain for hours because no one could find the night Dr to write the script for meds.
I was in the hospital for 3 weeks last year, I have good insurance and money in my HSA plus luckily our FMLA is great.
It was almost $400,000 and I still ended up having to pay out of pocket some.
I'm in an at will state and other companies probably would have let me go and we'd be screwed
This is happening to a friend of mine and it's very distressing
When I saw one the other day I had the same thought as the first time I saw a cyber truck.
Wow it's somehow worse in person
I had a NA Miata in the past and just picked up a r50 mini. Would have preferred a r53 but found a really good deal.
A Miata is hard to beat for a reliable fun car. Mine was a beater but it was easy to work on and cheapish.
So far my mini hasn't had any major issues but I'm sure it will happen
I ran into two of them this past weekend on I-44
I've been going to Austin for work 10 times a year for the last decade.
I think you are 100 percent right. With that they have also sucked a lot of the soul out of the place.
It's been getting less enjoyable every time I go.
Yeah I was driving our 4runner because it's the only car I have that runs on 87 with ethanol in it. Still have the tent on top but it was cheaper than diesel or 91 non ethanol.
We partially bought a mini because of that. Filling the X5 up was 100 two weeks ago not sure what diesel is now
My mother in law lives in a little mountain town north of Florence, we've thought about moving multiple times.
Taking the back roads up there in a fiat 500 and having a better cappuccino at a gas station than I can get at a coffee shop here is a dream.
If everything doesn't collapse first my Datsun will probably get to see its second fuel crisis. Totally cool and normal things going on.
Tulsa
Fantastic music scene across a bunch of different genres.
An up and coming food scene, we have a James Beard winning bakery and multiple nominees.
Lots of local businesses popping up on the RT 66 corridor.
We have mayor that's working with the tribes and trying to make the city better
The mini has had a very annoying rattle in the back. The guy I bought it from lowered the price because of that and the leaking radiator.
Easy fix, don't buy lame caliper covers lol.
#weirscarbs #cars
The first one had hands on the wheels and looked like he was actively driving.
Didn't get a great look at the second one but it looked like it might have been driverless, guessing the first one was there for whenever the self driving one does something stupid
Saw a couple cybercabs or whatever they are called heading down 44 between OKC and Tulsa
#weirdcarbs #cars
Cheap caliper covers
A performance chip that just throws check engine lights
Vinyl stickers that say mini power to da max and mahalo
Cheap rev9 coil overs
Some questionable add-ons to the mini. Caliper covers are coming off as well as the "performance chip" and the vinyl on the door sills.
But it does have a miltek exhaust so it's not all bad.
Also replacing the radiator it's got a small leak

That's how I sounded (except more coherent) when I had two organs half working and a half liter of fluid on my lungs last year.
Hope it's painful
My newest car is a 2015 and I've got 4 out of 6 in that time frame.
2015 4Runner reliable
2004 mustang reliable
2011 x5 diesel mostly reliable
All three of those have engines that will do 300k easily
I did just buy a 2006 mini I have my doubts on that one haha
I filled up my x5 diesel and it was almost $100 and that's in Oklahoma with lower fuel prices than most.
Glad I live close to work and can just bike
I used to see a second gen focus RS quite a bit around Tulsa and there was a jimny for sale in OKC, not sure how they were doing the second one lol
The door of a icelandair flight on a very cold day
I had a layover last year in Reykjavik on my way to Italy and I forgot about that part. I also picked a seat right by the door on a below freezing day with super strong wind.
I was prepared for 90 degree weather not that lol.
Oh hey that's the E-3 out of my area lol.
