Owen Cooper who plays the teenage boy is absolutely brilliant. The whole show is simply engrossing and stunning. My thought at the end of the final episode: “What did I just watch?” It’s almost too much to process.
Bright minds and all. 😉
Forget about a history test, have them take the US Citizenship test.

That’s closer to Thousand Island sauce though. It’s delicious but definitely different.
I’m probably eating them with a sandwich merguez so sauce is essential
Look plain mayo is fine but there are always vastly better options for frite sauce like pili pili and samourai.

Of course now I’m totally sucked in because the Black & White is not your typical American cookie but a Bavarian creation that more closely aligns with French petit gâteaux. So of course I’m entranced with Melissa Clark’s NYT recipe efforts because I was struggling with how to get round cookies.
Found the recipe from Annalise Sandberg here www.completelydelicious.com/peppermint-b...
and I think next time I’ll strive for a deeper chocolate with no mint frosting for the Black side to offer more balance.
I’ve never had a true NYC Black & White cookie. But I was inspired after my wife brought a Red & White cookie home from a Christmas cookie exchange. This was one of the more complicated cookies I’ve baked in a while but peppermint Black & Whites were amazing.
With these types of events given my international studies and experience overseas I’m immediately interested in finding the expert analysts who understand the politics, history, culture and overarching dynamics.
There’s a long history of student protests toppling regimes in South Korea so I would expect Yoon is trying to head off any surge that might come from discontent with his government. We’re only 7 years removed from Park’s impeachment.
Send him our best for a speedy recovery Benji. Praying he’s back to full form by the Monuments in his schedule.
Remco getting doored while on a training ride is ridiculous. Here’s to hoping he’s in full recovery by the season start in March.
Really would love to see all the top riders in peak condition next year.
The honey butter Parker House rolls were a hit again this year I feel like I’m getting the hang with the bake. Now just need to get a uniform roll out and forming.
I’ve started a thread on Twitter I can point people to for why so many are departing the site for Bluesky as a pointer that’s it not about snowflake liberals wanting a site of their own but a broad based community seeking a healthier dynamic.

In industrial manufacturing on the factory floors we would talk about the “success-complacency cycle” and how to disrupt it to avoid accidents.
In the context of vaccine hesitancy which Ramaswamy has thrived on, the medical profession discusses developing “distrustful complacency.”
Damn straight.
Don’t tell the Dentists! 😅
It’s amazing to me how Weyland-Yutani obsesses on the xenomorph and consistently perpetuates the failure that the Engineers sparked.
As Dr Malcolm declared in Jurassic Park, “Life finds a way.”
The current crop of incoming models are not promising for such a trend.
Volvo who has decades of research establishing the safety impact of physical interfaces for driver focus is releasing their newest flagship SUV with this dash.

What the dog and I put up with as the giggle of teenage girls in our house flex their creative humor. Tonight he took the short straw.
The 🦋 starter packs are easing that transition and accelerating the community. Trust and transparency are flat lined at X and a rebalancing is underway.
Will they both become bipolar ecospheres?
This is Naval and other soothsayers like him trying to confirm their personal bias. Before Twitter there was IRC, Friendster, MySpace, AIM, Flickr, even Facebook but many of them disappeared and some are thriving off ramps from the mainstream.
No social community is inevitably dominant.
Where are my #cycling folks? Need to build the network.
