When I look at him I see purple and triangles. His outfit, his face. So I went with it. For his cosplay earrings when I zoomed it they looked like triangles attached by claw clips. I used pinch bails to imitate that.

Baby Saja
For Baby I imagined him either wearing studs or small hoops. Baby gives the vibe of wanting to put on the least amount of effort to get the best results possible. So I don't see him with long or dramatic earrings.

If I'm using components I already have, then I just play with the design till I'm happy with it. Similar process only I don't have only visuals to rely on.
I'm curious about other creators design processes. For me when I'm designing a themed collection I shop based on a rough concept. Visually put together components and then order what's needed. I then troubleshoot when I get the supplies as needed.
I'm down to my last pair of my Shadowheart inspired earrings in silver. I have a few left of the gold version.

Her norigae had a turtle, and I definitely wanted to include it in her design. I'm pretty happy with the mini turtles in the center. I included red and blue to match the color of her straps.

For Huntrix's earrings I tried to incorporate elements from their norigae. Mira is the only one who has little charms of the other girls on hers. I was originally going to add colors for the other girls but I didn't like how it looked.
