This could be creating a sense that Lucasfilm is already looking beyond when in reality the marketing hasn't fully started yet for Mandogu. And Lucasfilm is in comparison to the past ahead of schedule with two films in post.
If we continue the pattern of most films marketing will kick up in March.
Hot take, I don't think the Mandalorian & Grogu marketing is bad because it's following the same patterns and schedule as every other Disney film besides Solo.
What I think is happening is that the film releasing after, is already in post and people who've worked on it have talked about it. Cont.
