Some people will get this joke, but mostly, it will roll over their heads.

No, the talk was not recorded. It would be helpful if we got into the habit of doing that more. Thanks for your interest. I may have an early draft by the summer.
This November, I presented at the @easainfo.bsky.social inaugural ELAN (EASA Linguistic Anthropology Network) conference at Leiden University. My talk, "Semiotic Sovereignty and the Right to Be Madly True," will hopefully appear as a special issue article next year.
Yes, I still use both.
My panel is sending in our proposal today.

EVENT DESCRIPTION in thread.
You guys will definitely need a constant morale boost for what is to come and what needs to be done to reclaim your country from its own decline.
@easainfo.bsky.social I am looking forward to EASA 2026 in Poland if all of that comes together!!!
Wishing everyone a safe and eventful November conference. Unfortunately, I will be unable to attend this event for several reasons. Shame, given the meeting's theme and my work on hauntologies and psychosis, as well as my ethnographic poem about ghostly phenomenology.

Yes, sure. Please email or DM me. I suggested your book for acquisition by the UVic library.
Nice model. I hope the clanky inspiration of its typing music sends you into the ethereal.
I own a few typewriters myself, and I have a series of interviews on them that I am working on creating with other owners and writers. :)

It does make me want to cancel my Duolingo subscription.
Thanks, @easainfo.bsky.social, for the post. You guys really know how to throw a party. I am looking forward to EASA 2026.

Congrats! Is this the book version of your thesis?
I had a 600-word daily quota that worked for me. So, I can attest to that method.
I do not celebrate St. Patrick's Day as it is not Irish (and venerates a colonial figure). Also, I could do without the celebration of alcohol that is tied to it in North America.
