Thanks Tez, same to you and yours. These are my guys, concert partners/partners in crime(at JP, MetallicaMachine Head and Anthrax).

I think so. Hell, I'm fairly well impressed by the second act too. It doesn't match act 1, but it's more than I expected.
Plus Jerry has a nice solo catalogue, Mad Season is a ridiculously good side project w/ Layne.
Talented mofos.

It was an AIC day today. 1992 Brazil presses for Dirt & Facelift.
The only band of that era I put on my all time Rushmore.

It's just so damn good. I think the first four are all A's, but FW and the debut are A++. Very different vibes from each other, FW a bit darker and the debut a bit ..... happier, I dunno the word I'm searching for.

Fair Warning, 44 years young today.
This and the debut are my co-#1 ranked VH albums.
The Riffs, layered guitars, solos, DLR's rasp and howl, solid & groovy rhythm section.......fugedaboudit

Thank ya sir!!

I have nearly the opposite opinion of that(which of course doesn't mean squat). For me, Mob Rules has improved with age, and Dehumanizer stayed firmly strong(I was amazed with DH from the outset).
Blizzard has never diminished in my eyes(but Diary aging like a fine whine to slightly surpass it).

Today is Heaven & Hell's 45th Anny, which begs a couple questions:
Following a huge split like Sab/Ozzy, how many times did both sides of the split release great albums like H&H and Blizzard of Ozz?

Which do you prefer?

Not the main guy. I don't remember his name.

No. I'm old enough to have watched plenty of the original. I liked the bartender Isaac and the Doc the most.

The Doc went on to be the Governor(I think, or senator) in Iowa, when I was in college there.
Goofball TV persona, then serious politician.

My favorite song from them is Sometimes Salvation.

That Astros shit irked me. I'm a Sox fan, and the fact that they brought Cora back? I haven't paid attention to them since. He was a big part of that, and that was a horrible message to rehire him.

Sorry to burst your trouble makin bubble good sir.

But yeah, this is a fukkin crackin album. How many great bands and albums just went totally unnoticed by the masses?

A couple of classic metal/hard rock gems were released on this date in 1977, Sin After Sin by Judas Priest, and 1975, making it the 50th anniversary for Toys in the Attic.

That's absolutely amazing. One slip, cramp, gust of wind at the wrong time, and he's done.
I've got no problem saying I wouldn't do it.

Me being the late bloomer to DM, I didn't get into them in order. So I'm kinda equally wowed by all of them.

Pretty cool, love the way the second track ends.

Corrosion of Conformity - In The Arms Of God

Released 20 years ago today

A great album that gets a bit overlooked by the likes of Blind, Deliverance etc

Full to the brim with super songs
