Absolutely. Tried it again recently after forty-odd years and was staggered by how dull it is. Well- made and handsome but completely inert. Brought back the disappointment of seeing it when I was young. And another example of people not getting the genre. Anyhoo, still loving the series.

Still better than The Awakening, mind.
