Some colours over one of the A5 Alex sketches from the kickstarter. Slightly off model like those versions of toys you would get in the corner shop that were close but not quite right. Anyway almost only 3 days to go on Alex Automatic 7

I’m getting lots of things shoved through my door from them, so they must be spending quite a bit of money, though maybe Ipswich is a target area for them
One day left on the DAN DARE: FIRST CONTACT @b7comics.bsky.social Kickstarter - due to issues with my editing software, this interview w/ @alexdecampi.bsky.social and @marclaming.bsky.social is WAY late but hopefully it might persuade you to get on board, last minute...

Nice cover btw. It’s a lot easier to see it in detail on the hardcover
You’d think so…
I’m still completely baffled by how much money Pratt would get, if any, out of this considering it’s his artwork that is the selling point of the book and he spent 10 months putting it together
Perhaps he would of explained about paying himself and other things had his ‘Crowdfund your comic’ book been published
But surely they need all the money to be able to refund everyone and that money is no longer there
Funniest thing I’ve seen all week
Still trying to get my head around this. Meadows admits there’s only $20,000 left out of the $46,000 & Pratt now has that.(So not enough money to offer a refund) Meadows admits he has been taking money out of the campaign between June and March. So he’s been paying himself a wage of $2000 a month?
Clearly the AI technology hasn’t developed enough to actually make these people funny
I did and enjoyed it. I was surprised not to see those preview pages that had been shared for months in the run up to the release of the first issue, in there. Which issue will they appear in?
If you could say ‘BINS!’ at around 8pm every Tuesday night that would helpful. Then I can stop thinking of you as just ‘the bleeds guy’ and can now think of you as ‘the bleeds AND bins guy’.

I think we’d all prefer a plan rather than it being just an ambition…
Last week at Broken Frontier... Palookaville 25 – Seth Returns to Palookaville and Here Are Some Reasons Why That’s a Great Thing. www.brokenfrontier.com/palookaville...
Did you not get a copy of the book? I received mine, the rest of the stuff of course will probably never happen now. I’d actually forgotten about this kickstarter.
I wonder when M&S stopped doing their own books like this.
Other shops had their own exclusive books/editions back in the day.
Here are things produced for BHS and WHSmith I own
Well the choice seems to be he is either an arsehole who likes trolling people or he has mental health issues and his family/friends should have really intervened by now
Poor old Frazer Brown is feeling left out and worried people might have forgotten about him with all this fuss about a different kickstarter unrelated to him
As far as i can tell he doesn’t have access to anyone’s address, so even if he printed the books as it currently stands, he wouldn’t know where to send them
A four pager drawn by Al Williamson and Ralph Mayo originally published in the 1950s, but I’ve photographed these from a 1975 issue of Dracula Lives! weekly
He issued his own statement earlier, what we really don’t know is what the agreement was between them going into this. How much money both were expecting their ‘fees’ to be out of the kickstarter money. Sounds like a breakdown in communication and expectations. Refunds seem to me to be unlikely
Yes that’s the same statement sent to backers at 8am this morning, followed by a copy sent via email too
Whoops! Nearly ‘liked’ one of your jokes there…
Not worried about those items, but if there’s a fridge magnet thrown in and I’m sitting on the fence about your campaign… that might just swing it for me
I should add Tripwire have issued a statement this morning. Still many unanswered questions though. It’s a mess.
I know the book you’re talking about.
A lot of these big US campaigns you just know they will be available in UK comic shops somehow. You just have to wait and not give into temptation
