As it turns out, they won't forward this like a drivers license, so USPS would return it to the DMV. Then the DMV mails it again, and USPS returns it again. This happened 3 times before I had to change back to getting mail delivered to the post office so I could actually get it.
Dang. That's brutal. Last time o needed to renew mine, our mailbox was broken into it, one of those cluster boxes. USP said it'd be 8-10 months to fix it, so we had to across town to the post office to pick up mail. After 6 weeks, we decided to have it forwarded to family who live nearby.
