They're using my typeface. Fuck!
(To be fair, it's showed up everywhere in the last couple years.)

Just wrote the most basic tagline ballyhoo ever. Please clap.
It's not meant to be poetry. It's meant to club you over the head.
I am so not wired for this.
Probably going to do it all as one PS file unless that's not a good idea. (I'd done older banners all in PS, probably in raster type. Just don't recall the resolution.)
Thanks!
I just heard one of the middle schoolers backstage say “oh my god Jacob, you could drown in a fire” and it’s my new favorite insult.
Folks who've printed custom banners lately - I'm looking at doing a new one. Service bureau template is 300 dpi (for 33x80 inches). Minimum size is 150dpi. Is that gonna be okay resolution or should I really shoot for 300dpi?
It's not a book cover, but something to grab from across the room.
So. Much. Aesthetic.
Remind me never to get you angry. I wouldn't like you when you're angry.
Popcom magazine, a Japanese videogame magazine from 1988. It features a pixelated tyrannosaurus in a bowtie on the cover. It looks delightful.

Parody Time Magazine cover featuring the inanimate carbon rod from the Simpsons. The cover shows a hand holding a green rod, perhaps fourteen inches long. Below this it says "In Rod We Trust."
What next?
I know.
There's a podcast on that list. A. Podcast.
Rectum? Damn near killedum!
Once I saw this meme format I couldn't resist making a version about video editing 🤪

HAND OF LAW IS COMIN' DOWN
Though there is a surprisingly effective autopsy scene that @moviemagicliker.bsky.social might dig.
There's a last-act twist that takes this more into WTF territory, but it coulda used that jolt a long time before.
Today's Elliptical Cinema: Night Feeder, a mid-80s SOV horror thing that I wish was a lot better than it actually was. Some good texture but still too long at just under 90 minutes. A Peturbator soundtrack would elevate this.
I've only had an account since 2008.

Thanks to everyone who's signed up and reposted. 45 followers for My Gifts Are Hungry. 50 is in reach, specially since we have ten days until the campaign start.

Seriously, watching the author next to me sell a stack of books because 80s was in the title (and the book itself was not even set within the period) and sure, I can go from technical to crude, even blunt.
Oh and I guess I'm working on a new banner which will do a better job of ballyhoo than the old one (which, to be fair, is not hard.) If you don't roll with the punches, you're just a punching bag and I'm too delicate for that particular job.
What, you thought I was done with this? Nah.
And seeing as how BlueSky is it (aside from... lol UpScrolled), I will flog here until the horse is a thin paste.
Help me stay away from Meta. Come by and sign up to be notified when the campaign for My Gifts Are Hungry (that being my new book and a great place to start with Hazeland as setting/series) goes live. No obligation past that. Two more and we hit 45 followers.

But then I remember that Meta extorts money from people who run accounts in an effort to... reach the people who've specifically followed you. And the whole "make fake post/accounts with AI to keep people scrolling" and maybe I'm good.
Got a lot of faces from folks stopping by the booth when i said "No, I don't have Insta or Facebook."
I wanna reach these people. Meta needs to burn to the waterline. Trying to reconcile these two is tough.
