Hi.. itโs me little Baxter โค๏ธ
Hoping to find my friends!
No problem, just glad you will get some answers, I know it took some time for Jock to settle after I changed his diet. I very rarely look on here but I did yesterday and the first post I saw was yours. Glad I could help X
Yes, gluten free, I remember now. Good luck and I hope you feeling better soon ๐
๐ข Hope all is ok now
Try and take a video when Olls is having an episode to give to your vet. ๐
There is information online too. Itโs canine epileptoid cramping syndrome. Hope you can get some answers
Me too, it took a long time to figure out what was happening and the answer was changing diet. It wasnโt nice though
Yes Jock was sick afterwards, he couldnโt stand up and would roll his head from side to side. He knew it was going to happen too. If you look on YouTube at Cannine Epileptic Cramping Syndrome, that is how he was.
I canโt properly remember, I think it was a trial and error situation, I know I had to stop giving him anything with Beef in it and he had food for sensitive tummy. It happened in clusters then disappeared for a long time then came back. It wasnโt nice to watch it when it happened
Sorry to butt in but I just seen this. My Jock used to have fit like episodes for many years that turned out not to be epilepsy. It was cramping in his stomach a bit like CECS which is prevalent in Border Terriers. Anyway, changed his diet and it settled, still had bouts of colic but not as bad.
