He tastes like liquor, and his breath is hot, and Eddie's stomach twists in surprise before his hand goes to Steve's neck. His skin is warm there, too. His fingers drift against bare skin and stay there. Steve is the one to pull away. "I told you," he says. He wipes his mouth, looking smug. "Everyone likes me."
