De'Anthony Melton’s ears are burning

I’ll throw my beloved Fulham’s hat into the ring. Lovely stadium (even with new additions), great history of American players and still waiting for the first major trophy despite being the oldest club in London. Bonus - the west London location makes it an easy place to get to for a visit.
Sixers-Magic game in 1st quarter
Nothing like a nice, relaxing evening watching the local basketball club.
Genius by Nurse. Saved it for just the right moment.
Should I like if my team was the one that got one-hit?
Dawn Staley wearing an extremely good white, grey, and green Eagles jacket on the sideline
This counts as another Eagles win over the Patriots fyi
That’s probably in my top 5 most seen movies. Not all of it holds up but I love watching it early in the baseball season and the music choices are terrific.
Huda. Great smash burgers and they hold up pretty well when delivered. My usual is the short rib grilled cheese but the burger buns are terrific.
2 of those 6 are originals, I think?
Mine was mostly from a pitcher with Great Bluedini Kool-Aid.
Same cook. They went on a weekday and it was slow so not sure it was the full crew. I miss that street. Doctor Espresso #3 was right across from there and had the best pastries. Great combo (pre-match or otherwise).
We were back in London between Christmas and New Year’s and that was the one place my kids insisted on going.
I run by the Schuylkill on Saturday mornings and it always cheers me up a bit to see the cheap beer cans and empty Fireball bottles under the bridge.
I think it’s former pitcher Peter Moylan.
I’m a Blaney guy (despite Roger P) because I used to watch his uncle play basketball at West Virginia University in the 80s.
That’s the way to do it. After a few races you’ll find yourself liking/disliking drivers (or teams) for irrational reasons and you’ll be hooked.
You pick a driver yet?
Excited to see what the Rockets first round pick can do with some starters’ minutes.
Blaney’s my guy. Moving since the restart.
And my mom told me that getting outside would be more productive than playing Pitfall. Glad I didn’t listen.
I know that there’s no way to actually make money gambling on sports, but the fact that you can still legally wager on other teams to win the 3rd quarter against the Sixers at least leaves open the possibility.
Branded helmet? (Assuming you’re ok or wouldn’t be posting about it.)
I kinda can’t believe that Phish didn’t make the list this year. Seems like nominating them, having Trey get interviewed in the music press, getting spammed by fans voting and keeping them out every year would be a great bit - and work out well financially for all involved.
I’m going on a viewing strike until they bring back the “One on One” ads.
We went on a family trip to Europe in summer of 85 (I was 8) and my parents got me a Walkman and a few tapes for the train rides. That was the only one I listened to until we went to Bonn and I bought Paul Young (The Secret of Association of course).
That’s a deep cut. Clearly a Phil-head working the sounds that evening.
Dan Reed played a bunch of that the other evening on XPN. Good stuff. No Jacket Required has been (back) in my heavy rotation lately so I needed to mix it up a bit.
I was listening to Face Value while walking the dog.
You celebrating Phil Collins Day this weekend?
