hey if you enjoyed Covenant and you have a game crafter account with points on it, my brother designed a cool game called SCHRODINGER'S KITTENS that you can vote for in game crafter's current design contest!

ooh I’ll have to try it — unfortunately I have to use docs with my students’ drafts so I can’t escape it entirely 😬
one is another novella that may or may not happen but that I've written 800 words of and the other is basically a research journal for a new project I'm trying to decide whether or not to pursue
the good news is, I can tell it's almost summer by the fact that I had started working on TWO potential summer zine ideas so if anyone wants cool mail this summer keep an eye out
Back on my great outdoors, pacific northwest, verdant horror, audio drama bullshit 🌲
apparently I can no longer highlight anything in google docs without a fucking AI "refine" pop up getting in the way jesus christ
This episode features:
@quinnmajeski.bsky.social as Edmond Wallace
@cprevas.bsky.social as the Realtor
Sarah Golding as Ellen Peterson

Northwest Gothic is a love letter to the grandeur and terror of the PNW wilderness. Listener discretion is advised.
A picture of a basket full of mushrooms sitting on the forest floor. Text reads "Northwest Gothic, Episode 4: Happy Mushroom Farms"

Last Train to Bremen!
And now, the FULL TRAILER for THE TERROR: DEVIL IN SILVER.
I’m going to say this trailer “rips.” It might even be “a banger.”
This show has taken four years of my life. You finally get to see it May 7th.
From @victorlavalle.bsky.social, Karyn Kusama, Ridley Scott & me.
LOOK AT THIS CAST!
People defeated scarcity. Everyone had what they needed, and nobody got sick, but they found that they needed things to be just a little bit difficult once in a while. They needed to stub their toe and wait in line and see that check engine light. They decided to leave their existence just a little short of perfect, because they wanted to want.
I'm already crying about space so a reminder that @jonbois.bsky.social maybe made the best piece of art of the 21st century so far here www.sbnation.com/a/17776-foot...
thank you Quinn!!!!
thank you!!!
Unexplored Places is about the only Actual Play I've actually managed to persist with listening to, and that's because it's such good quality. As a long-term GM, I find the quality of narrative and worldbuilding delightful and it inspires me to push myself creatively.
The Unexplored Places is one of my favorite podcasts and Christine is one my favorite storytellers. Their skill at worldbuilding and creating weighty narrative choices is unparalleled. Get them AND yourself a present and go listen to the Unexplored Places!

thank you!!!
thank you!!
yesss thank you!! the audio quality of the early episodes is a little rough, but it improves drastically as the show goes on
thank you Jack 😭😭😭
And that's because Christine is BUSTING THEIR ASS day in and day out. Getting their literal doctorate. Writing a whole ass game for the new season. And still somehow they seem to have hobbies? And a social life? When they say New York never sleeps thats just @cprevas.bsky.social doing it all
You SHOULD be listening to the unexplored places if you are an actual play fan. Especially if you like forged in the dark or pbta games. Not only is it full of banger episodes incredible characters funny bits and amazing music, but it also has the most consistent release schedule I have ever seen
today's my birthday & I would love it if, to celebrate, you all checked out @unexploredcast.bsky.social, the actual play podcast I've been producing for 9 years! we just started a new season!
& if you already listen to Unexplored Places, celebrate my birthday by convincing a friend to listen!
thank you, thank you 🙏
and I'll tell you, the Echo Chamber crew has made me regret it, this old woman has shown up AT LEAST two more times in upcoming episodes
Egress Stanton sometimes had an accent when I remembered to do it, but this is definitely the most committed I've ever gotten to one
This can't possibly be true but I feel like this episode of Echo Chamber is the first time I've ever heard @cprevas.bsky.social do an accent
