Have the recipe, plus the casserole-in-a-baggie for free in case you need it. "Celery" is celery salt, and it's optional. Never used bread crumbs on top but it sounds good. Always used ketchup itstead of chili sauce. You can also add some carrot if you like. Lovely, moist, tender meatloaf ☺️

Aside from texture and ingredient differences, I think good cooking prevents many problems. I was making meatloaf for a friend and said, "Weird, I didn't remember adding water" and he said "it's probably because meatloaf tends to be dry" and I said "Your meatloaf is DRY? And you make it AGAIN?"

Best onions we've found are Egyptian walking onions. Potato onions are very nice, but they're pretty mellow so they're sort of a one-trick pony. The Egyptian walking onions are a good all-around onion for basically whatever you want to do! Plus, when they're doing well, they have babies!

I've been wondering if growing paprikas, specifically, would work. All the other Eastern European classics do great here! We just can't grow anything that needs a medium or long growing season lol
