Served with Pommes Aligot (Gruyère cheese whipped potatoes) & buttered peas with caramelized shallots and vermouth. Mon Dieu, this was the best ham I’ve ever had!

Sunday dinner! Last BBQ of the summer season! Cedar-Planked Mahi-Mahi with Rice Pilaf and Green Beans Almandine! All served with my special Herbed Seafood White Wine Cream Sauce (it’s my own recipe! 😊) It all came out so delicious and someone loved his! 😋
Sunday dinner! Cedar-planked salmon on the BBQ grill with rice pilaf and sautéed asparagus…all drizzled with my homemade beurre blanc sauce! The smoky, salty salmon and the tangy, creamy beurre blanc were truly a match made in heaven! 🤤

Some devastating news…my beloved niece, Sarah, was taken from this world way too soon last Thursday night. 💔😭She was a bright, funny, talented young lady. To say this is tragic, wouldn’t even begin to describe it. Fly high and rest easy sweet niece, you will always be loved and remembered. ❤️

Happy Valentine’s Day! Fun day w/kiddos at school then Friday night pizza night! Got too late for movie so it was reading night! Been reading The Boxcar Children to Sebastian (kitty lovingly joined us!) and I’m about more than 3/4 through It! So far the best book I’ve read by Stephen King!

Retro weeknight dinner that brings me back to the 80s and 90s…Noodles Romanoff! Used to have this as a kid from one of those Hamburger Helper or Lipton meals or as a TV dinner. Made it from scratch today and it’s a delicious easy weeknight meal! Someone else liked this vintage recipe too!
