What happened to #WhatIf? The first couple seasons didn’t seem so hemmed in by the MCU. More creativity.

Emergency hull destruction button?! So if something ever grabs your spaceship, you can slip out of it like a windbreaker? A little much #SkeletonCrew in an otherwise good episode.

Maybe my favorite episode of #SkeletonCrew yet. I liked #Ashoka, but lite not picks about the casting or how they told the story kept me from loving it because I had expectations based on previous media. There’s none of that for this show.

Wanted to read a story with Zsazs in it and boy did this first appearance disappoint. Arkham’s Skinnerism was shallow and silly and his actions even more unbelievable. Zsasz not really developed at all. #Batman unhinged. Do not recommend.

Thanks. That’s how it felt. Sort of the same as the Uncharted movie in that I loved playing the games with the puzzles and characters and stories…but didn’t really enjoy watching it.

Also tried the first ep of #TombRaider. Very underwhelming despite a stellar voice cast. A missed opp to talk about repatriation of artifacts as well. Too many character cliches and story tropes crammed into a half hour. Does it get better?

Loved that puzzle. My favorite JLA and favorite era of comics.

After 1 #Batman: Caped Crusader I’m mixed. Loved: music, return to Deco Gotham, production team (Timm, Brubaker, Abrahms). Meh on Batman voice actor. Action sequences bland. Didn’t mind gender swap on Penguin at all (thought I would). Minnie Diver killed it.

Okay, I need to build this up over here. Even the insulated comics and nerdery-only feed I tried to build over on that old bird site has been poisoned. Any feed suggestions?

Ok nerds, lay those hot takes on me. Just saw #GodzillaMinusOne . Best Toho G-film since 1954 for me, by a long shot. G scenes were terrifying. Human drama was compelling. Really well crafted narrative arc for the lead. Music was spot on. Even my wife liked it.

Daughter dragged us to #ThanksgivingMovie. Started out mildly amusing then devolved to predictable, tired tropes. Felt needlessly cruel in spots. There’s a reason I don’t watch these.

Captain Britain with the red suit and the scepter was one of my favorite costume designs of all time.

I’m gonna say I enjoyed Monarch before I read a bunch of Kaiju high-brow tweets telling me why it was bad. I actually got more Kaiju action than I was expecting. Not 💯 on the last flying/dragon monster. Looking forward to more.
