In this video I talk about how I make concert and event photography more fun again by using all manual film cameras and I also explain why I chose a digital camera with auto modes for the last concert I photographed.

A new video is up! I finally figured out why I didn’t enjoy concert photography anymore: Modern cameras make it far too easy with burst modes, reliable autofocus and autoexposure.

🙌
This lens used to be my favourite back when I started taking photography more seriously and to my surprise it still delivers when I use it on my Lumix with a Viltrox EF to L mount adapter, even though by now the lens is more than 15 years old.
New video is up! Come along for a photo walk full of moody black and white landscape photographs taken with my Lumix S5 II x and my trusty old Canon EF 35mm f/2.

Thank you Steve! 🤞
Nearly had a moment of shooting, developing and scanning my film on the same day. Until my Pakon showed me the dreaded x20000 error 😭 fingers crossed that a bit of a deep clean tomorrow will fix it. I really don't want to lose the DX sensor. And tomorrow because it's 3 AM and brain's not braining 🫣
The best part is: it’s super easy and affordable to make this camera a lot more versatile. Of course we’ll also go outside and test the mod thoroughly so that you see whether this is worth it for you.
New video is up! In this video I show you how you can mod a Chuzhao retro vintage digital TLR to become a true toy camera in the style of film Holgas and Dianas. www.youtube.com/watch?v=DHuN...
In this video I also make field recordings with my Clippy Mics of bird calls at a river delta and record footage and take pictures of the birds too with my Canon EF-S 55-250 f/3.5-5.6 IS. This wasn’t the plan either, but life is what happens when you’re busy making other plans.
New video is up! Come along for a calm photo walk in the woods where I get seriously sidetracked by the wonderful Helios lens on my Lumix S5 IIx. I love the way this lens renders and can’t resist taking photos with it, even when that wasn’t the plan!

New video is up! Come along for a calm photo walk where I shoot my beloved Rolleicord V. I talk about the camera in detail in this video, so if you're looking for a review and some pictures that can show you what this amazing little camera can do, you've come to the right place.
A new video is up! It only snows every 5 years where we live, so if there is even the slightest hint of snow, I run to grab my camera. Come along while I chase elusive snow pictures in the entirely wrong place.

It was such a pleasure being interviewed by @lillyschwartz.bsky.social ! She did the cover art for both my albums and also has a wonderful YT channel about synths and photography.
We chat about synths, AI and science fiction. Enjoy!

We talk about what makes art feel truly human, the “moment of clarity” in creative work, and how technology can support that process.
If you’re into modular synths, (dark) ambient music, or the evolving relationship between artists and their tools, I think you’ll enjoy this one.
A new video is up! This time it's an interview! I had a really thoughtful conversation with dark ambient musician Nathan Plante about modular synthesis, generative processes, and the role of AI in making music and art.

If you want to know whether this camera is worth it and what kind of vibes to expect from it, then this video is for you!
A new photography video is up! This time something super fun: I test a cute Chuzhao TLR toy camera and compare it side by side with an old iPhone SE 2020.

The whole experience even inspired a track on my new album Polarcoaster - dreams long forgotten.
The technical stuff: I was shooting my Leica M6 with a Minolta 90mm f/4 that was still new to me back then and T-Max 100 film, developed as always in HC-110.
New video is up! Come along for a calming photo walk in a nature preserve. Our walk didn't end quite the way we had planned, which made it only more memorable. We laughed about it a lot!

My plan was to make field recordings of bird song, but I got seriously side tracked with a special effects filter and ended up taking a lot of pictures too with my Lumix S5 IIx, a Canon 50mm f/1.4 LTM lens and the Neewer Spiral Halo filter. I hope you enjoy it!
New video is up! Finally a new photography video on my all new photography channel. In this video I take you along for a photo walk in a nearby bird preserve.

Thank you so much!
Hah, so it is a ghost! 😂
Especially the last one is ✨ Like... is that a ghost? Super cool!
Could you point me to the YouTube video? I can't seem to find it! I'm really loving this effect!
For me PETG goes really stringy if I don't dry it, which can create big blobs and then it might fail, so I just have the dryer as my spool holder now. Really improved my prints a lot. Before I was really struggling with PETG.
Do you dry your filament? If not, that usually helps for me.
Aw, thank you so much Steve! I'm glad you enjoy them! I have some more photography videos lined up too, so that will be fun!
