My favourite Doors album.

2112 for me. I love the early albums, and although I like some later songs, I don't listen to any albums all the way through after 2112.
I really don't like disco music, but this is one of the greatest songs ever recorded.

An incredible album
Harry Nilsson - The Point

Iain Matthews- Only played songs off his newer albums and nothing from his Plainsong or Matthew Southern Comfort catalogues. The gig was good but could have been better (for me)
Tim Buckley- Song To the Siren

Zappa was my introduction, too.
Lonnie Donegan - Digging My Potatoes was banned upon release

Geno Washington & the Ram Jam Band - Live!
This was one of my big earning busking tunes. It came second in earnings after Annie's Song....! ๐

Roy Harper - Flat Baroque and Berserk. The final song on the album, Hell's Angels, is ok, but it doesn't belong on the album in my opinion

The Flaming Lips - Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots pt.1
Shorty Long - Devil In a Blue Dress

Kate Bush - Symphony In Blue

John Grant - Marz (Gold Dust washing powder)

I've seen Yes and Jethro Tull. I can take or leave Genesis, so ELP it is......
Kate Bush - Hounds of Love
I based the top 3 on my most played, but they are all equally fantastic albums. I really don't get Steely Dan. Amazing musicians, but sterile, soul-less music, aimed more at the head than the heart.
1. Pink Floyd (5/5)
2. Rolling Stones (5/5)
3. Fleetwood Mac (5/5)
4. Steely Dan (2/5)
I'm not a big Iron Maiden fan but I really like Phantom Of the Opera and Run To the Hills

1963-1973. The start of the Beatles studio recordings through to the end of MkII Deep Purple.
Tommy, closely followed by By Numbers
The Wall (5/5). I love it from start to finish and was lucky enough to see Roger Waters perform the whole thing a few years ago in London. In my opinion, Exile On Main Street (4/5) is a great album, but there is a bit of filler, and as the old cliche goes, it would have made a perfect single album
Anthony and the Johnsons - You Are My Sister

Barclay James Harvest - Brother Thrush

Fearless and adventurous
Kate Bush
