i spent 2 hours on this.

also you should check which ssh version is installed by checking `. "$Env:WinDir\System32\OpenSSH\ssh.exe" -V`, it should be larger than v8.9

all commands are intended for powershell btw

(the first request is from CLI by SSH and the second one is from a Windows Hello-like window, the PIN you enter first is completely ignored)

Git is using the wrong OpenSSH! And you can fix it by `git config --global gpg.ssh.program "$Env:WinDir\System32\OpenSSH\ssh-keygen.exe"`

ok this one is so infuriating that I've decided to make this my first post here

if you're using:
- Git for Windows with a incl. OpenSSH
- SSH key for commit signing
- use Yubikey or any other hardware token as a key storage
- key requires PIN entry

and every commit sign asks for PIN entry twice…

i think that these chapters are pretty spoiler resistant since if someone tells you the entire story you'll just dismiss it with "tf are you on, stop making shit up" AND THEN IT TURNS OUT
