Steve Hill is a Clinical Procurement Specialist @uhsussex.bsky.social and demonstrated some of the fantastic work that has been spearheaded by the procurement team! He also discussed the use of inventory management systems to reduce cost and waste from over-ordering!
Dr Amy Manning is an O&G ST7 at @northumbrianhs.bsky.social She won our abstract competition with her work reviewing drapes and gowns in minor procedures in gynaecology! 👏
Dr Abi Fry is a GP partner and trainer at Mile Oak Medical Centre in Brighton. Her practice was the first to score platinum on the Green Impact for Health Toolkit! Her enthusiasm for primary/secondary care collab is inspiring! Incredible work tackling polypharmacy and more!
Our first speaker is Chantelle Rizan, A/Prof at the Centre for Sustainable Medicine at the National University of Singapore. She has delivered an excellent talk demonstrating the carbon impact of surgery & where changes could be made - T&O we’re looking at you!
