While the answer to the question is, indeed “no,” dismissing the Tea Party as “astroturf” missed the mass mobilization around white dispossession that gave us MAGA and led to the mess we’re in today.
Can we please stop making that mistake?

The Tea Party group advertised it alongside their raffle for a Ruger 380 pistol.
The Center for Renewing America, the national conservative think-tank founded by current OMB director Russ Vought, is whining about Amazon choosing to stop selling the white nationalist mass-murder inspiring anti-immigrant novel, The Camp of the Saints.

"Your Account is Suspended" Message on X
The CEO of Palantir posted a fascist manifesto on X.
I pointed out that it was fascist—which resulted in a permanent suspension from X (my second time!).
So, when you hear the tweeters complaining that BlueSky is intolerant, remember why many of us came here in the first place.
The avowed election denier and leading MAGA conspiracy theorist was sorely rebuked by Michigan's attorney general.

CERTIORARI -- SUMMARY DISPOSITION 24-1099 SMITH, KYLE, ET AL. V. SCOTT, ROCHELLE, ET AL. The petition for a writ of certiorari is granted. The judgment is vacated, and the case is remanded to the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit for further consideration in light of Zorn v. Linton, 607 U. S. ___ (2026) (per curiam). Justice Sotomayor, Justice Kagan, and Justice Jackson would deny the petition for a writ of certiorari.
By a 6–3 vote, and with no opinion, the Supreme Court throws out a lower court decision denying qualified immunity who killed an unarmed, mentally ill man by using "bodyweight force" to restrain him. All three liberals dissent. www.supremecourt.gov/orders/court...
Buckle up, the Big Lie Machine is about to be turned up to 11.
Extremely normal and fine for a company to put this in a public statement
21. Some cultures have produced vital advances; others remain dysfunctional and regressive. All cultures are now equal. Criticism and value judgments are forbidden. Yet this new dogma glosses over the fact that certain cultures and indeed subcultures ... have produced wonders. Others have proven middling, and worse, regressive and harmful. 22. We must resist the shallow temptation of a vacant and hollow pluralism. We, in America and more broadly the West, have for the past half century resisted defining national cultures in the name of inclusivity. But inclusion into what?
⚠️ Palantir released what it describes as a vision for “The Technological Republic” in which it argues AGAINST democratic and cultural pluralism and FOR militaristic supremacy enforced by a technocratic elite who produce AI weaponry.
These points stand out:
idk I just think there’s more options than just the neo-Nazi and the group that invites groypers to their events (but DIFFERENTLY like to debate them!!) and is led by a guy whose own kid is a groyper lmao

This is Patrick A. Kopke-Hales (AKA @better4pat and "Greater Oregon") speaking on the Proud Boy-owned stage. Patrick is extremely transphobic, xenophobic, and Islamophobic. He was running for Oregon governor as a Republican but withdrew and now endorses Ed Diehl.

This is simply genocidal language and is a horror in itself.

During the anti-ICE school walkouts in January, a group of students in Chandler were targeted by an armed agitator. Turns out it was Phoenix PD Sergeant Dusten Mullen. He admitted his plan was to try to get purposely assaulted so the teenager protesters would all get arrested (it didn’t work).
