I'm not, to be clear

Just got my Adderall refilled, did the math and realized there's 600 MG of Adderall in the bottle. That's definitely enough to kill me if taken all at once and now I'm curious what the minimum amount to kill me would be, but if I Google it Google will think I'm suicidal.
3) Subreddit moderators expecting you to have the comprehensive and detailed explanations of the rules memorized when they ban you rather than telling you what you were banned for
A collection of things that when combined are bullshit:
1) Subreddits having a simplified version of their rules in an easily accessible place
2) Subreddits having a comprehensive and detailed rules section in a place that isn't intuitive to find

I just had an issue trying to update my alpha version of Pop!_OS that resulted in borked nvidia drivers, but I was able to boot, get into a TTY, and resolve the problem.
Something I love about Linux: it gives me the confidence to run software that I know is unstable, because I know I'll be able to fix whatever problems come from it without needing to completely reinstall my OS.
Dying to senseless gun violence was, if nothing else, consistent with his views.

Old Soviet joke for today:
A man walks into a newsstand every day, looks around, and leaves.
After a long time of this, the owner says “Can I help you find something?”
“I’m looking for the obituaries.”
“The obituaries are in the back of the newspaper, comrade.”
“Not the one I’m looking for.”
I know it will ultimately be more secure, resilient to malformed data, and maintainable in the end, but it's taking so much longer than I expected!
I started writing an SMTP server. I got a basic janky proof of concept version working (could send/receive emails) over a weekend and then decided to rewrite it the right way. The rewritten one still can't send/receive emails after 3 weeks.
I don't like that the Wii is a retro console now. We have to fix this.
I've been annoyed for a while with how my password manager (written in Go with GioUI) handles clipboard support, so I finally sat down and figured out how to do it properly. The solution isn't anywhere that I could find in the Gio docs, so read how to do it here:

Funny comic strip. A person drills a nail into a wall and hangs up a photo frame. Admiring their successful DIY work, they say “… I am unstoppable”. Illustration drawn in simplistic cartoon line work. By Amii Illustrates.
My father in law called me. I thought he was calling to ask about logistics for our Christmas plans or something, but:
Me: Hello?
FIL: Hey, you got a minute?
Me: Yeah, what's up?
FIL: Does "rizz the season" mean anything to you?
[seeing her boobs] uoah. . cool beanns . .
You definitely have at least accidentally. Her music is played everywhere.
Pie chart: 74% hydrogen 25% helium 1% other (in tiny font)
Atoms are binary. They are either intended to be hydrogen or helium. We can't just scrap this worldview just because of a handful of exceptions
Yeah, ENDS with Santa because Christmas comes AFTER
Well it WAS
I'm refusing to not call them skeets

RIP Hannah Montana Linux, gone but not forgotten
Additionally, if your only defense of what you're saying is that you have the right to say it, that to me sounds like you already know it's a shitty and unjustifiable thing to say.
Going to start linking to my blog posts here. Here's today's post: part 1 of a series on the ongoing development of my password manager

Tim Walz needs a podcast to help get us through the next 4 years.
Do you agree?
Florida winter has finally hit. I had to put on a light hoodie this morning to walk my dog. Huge improvement over the sun being a death ray every day.
I keep instinctively opening Twitter, seeing several posts in a row that make me angry, then realizing my mistake, opening Bluesky, and feeling much better.
it would be so funny if this is how his presidency ended. months before his term ends, he just walks into the rainforest and is never seen again
