I really don't get "spec-based development," which is nothing but a fancy way to describe a phase-gated "waterfall." An upfront specification is never correct, at least if our goal is to develop software people actually want to use. The more detailed and larger the spec, the less correct it is.

Imho, Google se encargó de meter diferencias de diseño sutiles pero importantes, para dificultar correr un Linux.

La capa de abstracción HAL para los drivers hace que no sirvan los drivers Linux, y está fuera de la capa del núcleo licenciado con GPL, por lo que los fabricantes tampoco los publican.

Hay todo un movimiento de Linux Mobile desde hace años, para correr Linux puro en teléfonos y tablets. Está postmarketOS, Mobian, Posh… Incluso compañías vendiendo dispositivos como el PinePhone.
