I think the summary has opted for the use of the term role play not because the law specifically targets that but because that is what defences have been predicated on previously. The community need to be careful, but the amendment is less direct than the gov summary
It is very ill thought out, and I’m concerned about it. But I think the gov summary is misleading. The amendment is a little more specific and would suggest that most ABDL content wouldn’t fall into scope. I do agree with you though that is distracting from the real problem and could be weaponised
