After communicating with Prof. Chatziioannou, I am still stating gravitational waves are scalar longitudinal-longitudinal waves. Scalar LL waves can have two degrees of freedom, plus and cross modes but they are not polarized or transverse.

I can’t wait to watch it. Also, after communicating with Prof. Chatziioannou at Caltech, I had to go back to my research drawing board to better match the LIGO & VIRGO data.
