Like the whole concept with Michelle is like really good in hindsight. A more sporty character..
But its the fact that they MADE HER ACT LIKE THAT. COMPARED TO EVERYONE ELSE
Don’t get me started on her being left out of some merch lines too
ik its not a big deal but its the way that-
I have genuine issues with how the writers made her to be and also the author who completely dusted their hands off when they’re done with MMB’s character
This is why I wish to draw MMB more and portray her in a better light
Her entire portrayal and treatment in the character is a genuine mess and it really hurts to say it because its true and disgustingly unfortunate
I was too scared to speak up on the matter but I’m glad someone else had to say it.
I noticed this too when getting into the series. Like I love MMB but I was really taken back from how they portrayed her compared to the other characters and HER SPECIFICALLY.
And later on get swept under the rug and be underutilized to make way of all the other lighter skinned characters
