also was outside yesterday on the first real sunny day of spring teaching my nephew baseball and my face got very sunburnt :| no warning shots or anything, just immediate burn

spent several hours after work on my current academic manuscript and all i got done was 8 rows of a table because transferring all of the sources into it was a pain 🥲 i still have 14 rows to go so… another day!

saw Sinners tonight and omg. definitely the best movie to come out this year (that i’ve seen at least)

when i read a book that is super well received and end up not liking it i feel guilty. like i must be evil for not loving this book

the only change i’m seeing in myself is that my legs are getting even more muscular. my legs are prone to muscle building because (lore drop incoming) i played softball for 11 years. even at my most inactive i’ve still had very muscular legs, but now they’re getting crazy lol

the gym has become such a lovely place for me. even though i haven’t seen many visible changes to my body, just going makes me feel much better and i like spending time there. i highly recommend to anyone who is able :)

i’m not even going to try to count all of the books i’ve got downloaded on my kindle

creating a spreadsheet of all the books i own but haven’t read yet in an attempt to make the stack smaller and… yikes lol

anyways back to your regularly scheduled programming. i’m reading the art of racing in the rain right now and i’m not a huge fan so far :(
