I am not really able to get off Meta (yet) but here's some tips. Use FB Purity and AdBlocker to block ads and sponsored posts in your browser. Don't use Insta or Fb apps on your phone. Move off whatsapp and Fb messenger onto Signal.
If you can't leave, give them as little money as possible.
I'm working, hard, to overcome my disgust and hold compassion for these folx but that compassion insofar as I'm able to cultivate it will not extend to tangible support. THAT will go to the people they harmed with their votes.
I am fortunate to have a comfortable amount of money and I give away a lot each year. I will not give a dime to anyone who voted for the orange guy. Can't afford groceries? Thoughts and prayers. Lose your healthcare? Thoughts and prayers. Lose your housing? Thoughts and prayers.
