My older brother just told me they recently closed Rudy’s Chicken in Oak Cliff after 30 years of operation, and I’m so upset because I thought I was going to get some when I went home soon. I used to love that 2 piece meal.

I hate the reality, but a lot of stuff is simply explained by racism and anti-Blackness. No matter how many hoops that are jumped through to avoid being called racist, that is the core reason for a lot.

Randomly decided to watch ‘Boston Legal’ and this plastic surgeon getting sued because he was using his own ass fat to inject into patients’ lips and had the nerve to call it the “good stuff” 😭

Really think outside of brand pages folks should really get back to treating social media like the micro-blog it was meant to be.

It’s just unfortunate to be on stage for a film where Delroy Lindo played a character like Delta Slim, who recounts how the Klan lynched his friend & to hear the word “n****r” uttered during. (Context, yes, but I don’t think folks are thinking about him & MBJ navigating that.)

My only take on BAFTA is that while something may have not been intentionally racist it doesn’t mean it’s not racist. So many people care more about being called racist than the harm of racism. Context matters but it’s still does not change the harm to those on the receiving end.

It’s not new, but it’s new to me lol apparently it’s seasonal for lent.

‘The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins’ pilot was 8/10 for me!

It’s becoming common that jobs ask if you are Transgender on job applications. And I really don’t think that’s information matters in the grand scheme of being qualified to do the job or not. It seems to be just another way to weed out candidates due to their identity.

This administration & its ilk used trans folks as a political hot topic, stripping our rights to deflect from the reality that they are the real pedophiles & danger to children. And it’s so disheartening that, no matter what continues to come out, they won’t be held accountable.

Rounding up journalists isn’t very pro-First Amendment. And it’s not something we should ignore that this administration is doing. This is not a good precedent and it infringes on our inalienable rights.

There’s some queer subtext there about having to hide who you truly are to navigate the world safely without scrutiny for your identity. #WonderMan

A film receiving multiple award nominations across different categories is simply the acknowledgment that the project put together a great team. These are professional awards the public just so happens to have access to. It’s like you receiving the biggest award in your industry.
