Loved TGL debut last night: the assignment was understood: Modernize interest in golf.

Tracking moves amongst coaches/GM’s. Seems like teams are doing due diligence with multiple interviews. It’s gonna be bottleneck at the start.

What’s on your sports plate?

Staying focused on my work. That’s partly how I’ll survive this year.

I also wonder about the rise in alternatives like women’s sports & Olympic sports like rugby & handball, where we know viewership, participation & popularity are rising. Is it that golf has a problem or is that there are more available options?

As we kick off the golf season, there’s lots of commentary about declining viewership, etc. lots of references to similar trends with NBA. And certainly there’s lots of interesting opinions & theories. There’s undoubtedly research going on and I’m curious about findings.
