I feel like if you’re doing a true crime pod for fun, you’re sick, but everyone has their hobbies. At least you’re (presumably) not out doing crimes. But when your true crime pod is your career you better be solving crimes and bringing justice to victims or you’re just an opportunist.

I am not against true crime. I’m a sicko too! I don’t participate in any of the pods/blogs/shows anymore because I lost the stomach for it but I had a few that seemed to center the victim at least.

Someone I really liked told me I “had to” listen to this pod about 9 years ago. 10 minutes of them cackling about a woman who’d been butchered and I was out. Truly loathsome human beings.
