I was in journalism and then after that, I got a science degree in nutrition. I need deadlines. I need things to scare me to motivate me. I also tried to get the things that I hate the most out of the way. Like it’s at the top of the to do list.

I give myself grace. But I put deadlines on things. I also reward myself after I done the really difficult thing. I have to create incentives for myself to motivate myself. Because no one else is going to do that for me and no chemical is going to change my behavior. It’s baby steps.

Running on hate is like running on sugar. You’ll run out of energy eventually.
