My (extremely sexy) hand holds a small knitted panel worked in green and yellow yarn, forming bold geometric shapes that resemble stylised letters. The piece is still on a knitting needle at the top. TiaTeva by Carol Sunday which I started 5 years ago in a cotton/wool blend. Must get this one done. Light grey background with navy fair isle colourwork inserts using short rows and striped body.
An Ceàrdach by Kate Davies. I changed this to a topdown fingering weight sweater, in light grey background alternating the colourwork rectangular motifs in dark grey and rust coloured.
Outcrop by Rachel Illsley. I am knitting this with Kat's Riverside Studio yarn in Hunter (dark green) and Trail (beige speckled yarn). Another topdown fingering weight pattern.
Fleur by Marie Wallin. Love the bright spring-like colours of Mondim. Cream background with gold, orange, light blue, mid-blue, and green colourwork diamond motifs.

Five full skeins of yarn sit on a tapestry spread in a cruise stateroom: — a big ball of Regia Virtuoso alleged sock yarn (75/25 wool/nylon, so…?) in a variegated from dove gray through pink to a warm brown; it's alleged because it’s DK, not sock weight yarn — two balls of Noro, no idea what though it looks like Kureyon but it definitely isn’t, in a sunset variegated from soft brown through oranges — a skein of Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sock in variegated dark blue and deep magenta. — a skein of sock weight in whites, blues and grays.

A demonstration of how much candy fits in these if you just knit them with larger yarn - used Loops & Threads Heathered Bamboo, which is a medium, instead of the light called for, no changes made to the pattern except gauge. About 3/4 cup of assorted Easter candies.
Never did post my chickies, we're doing Easter a week early so they are encandied. Made with L&T heathered bamboo to hold more treats, they were super quick, fun knits. (Abt. 4 hrs ea including finishing!) www.moumouknits.com/post/free-ea... #knitting 🧶
