The top left is the Vegan Mesquite & Honey Glazed Fried Chik’n & Funnel Cake from Honey Butter Country Fare, which consisted of a powdered sugar funnel cake made with a sweet batter that was fried to form a light, crispy, swirly cake topped with a big piece of savory, tender, meaty “chicken-fried” tofu with house-made mesquite bee-free honey glaze that was tangy, sweet and a little spicy. The top right is a Savory Snail from Hail Snail. This soft and fluffy pepperoni pizza-inspired snail with house ranch and a side of marinara sauce was meaty, creamy, and delightful. The bottom left is a Lunch Box Snail from Hail Snail. With potato chips, peanut butter, and strawberry sauce on a fluffy, tender cinnamon roll with a delightfully gooey filling, this deliciously dreamy snail was both nostalgic and wildly creative. The bottom right is the "Visible Valley" Loaded Corn Dog (vegan version) from Honey Butter Country Fare, which consisted of a cornbread-battered dog that had a crispy coating and was fluffy inside made with a Better Balance dog that was hand-dipped and fried golden brown, topped with rich and creamy house ranch, lively crunchy garlic chili oil, and green onions. We added a side of crispy battered and seasoned fries.
We had a crave-worthy, creative, fun, savory, and sweet meal vegan-friendly Honey Butter Country Fare and 100% #vegan Hail Snail, both located at www.arborbeerlodge.com in #PDX.
