Its cherry blossom season, my nose and eyes leave that in no doubt. BlueSky and IG are away with pinks, and beautiful though they are; for some of us allergy sufferers, its delight couched in pain. Verse is from Saigyo Hoshi, a 12th-century poet and later a Buddhist monk. His travels inspired Matsuo Basho, centuries later, to undertake his famous journey to the north.
