We have the sun lighting the trees from behind especially at the tops. At the right a tall tree with orange red yellow foliage at the top. This is a landscape photograph of a sunset. The narrow strip at the top, showing the sky, is coloured in shades ranging from light to dark orange. Just as the sun touches the horizon, it adds its own lighter highlight there. Only a narrow strip of the sea is visible, with the outlines of two people at the water’s edge, right next to the sun. The rest of the photograph is largely taken up by the beach, which lies slightly higher up. In between are irregularly shaped channels, carved out by the ebb and flow of the tide.
