A male Rufus hummingbird hovers in front of a light green background. This bird is copper on its tail belly back and head. He has a ruby gorget with white underneath fading to a copper belly, and a smattering of green feathers on his crown. His piercing eye as well as his beak are black. His wings are moving so fast they’re not visible in this photo. You can just tell see the tips of his toes in front of out of his white vent just above his tail.
