Dr. Sasha Reed, Chief of the USGS Terrestrial Drylands Ecology Branch and GDC, received the 2024 AGU Union Fellows Award and the Joanne Simpson Medal for her exceptional contributions to Earth and space sciences. Congratulations, Sasha!
This past semester, Dr. Sala organized a meeting to bring together experts from various institutions, participants compared different research methods, identified knowledge gaps, and discussed how and when water sources influence ecosystem functions. We are excited for what comes next!
